My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Shamis since he was a resident (47 years). It’s hard to express our appreciation for so many years of outstanding care. First of all, Dr. Shamis is a brilliant diagnostician. On the occasions he referred one of us to a specialist, the specialist never once told us anything new or different from what Dr. Shamis had told us. Additionally, he is incredibly patient and kind. He explains everything clearly, without talking down to you. You can easily and comfortably ask him ANY question. How fortunate we have been to be cared for by this able and gentle man! We have entrusted our health to Dr. Shamis for many years. We couldn’t have more trust, respect and genuine admiration for any doctor!
