How likely are you to recommend Dr. Abrams?
I WAS ADVISED BY THE DOCTOR WHERE I WORKED TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WHEN I DISCOVERED PETICIA (red spots) ON MY LEGS. I WAS SEEN BY DR. MARTIN ABRAMS, A HEMATOLOGIST/ONCOLOGIST, MUCH TESTING, ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL, IV BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS BEGAN IMMEDIATELY. DR. ABRAMS KEPT ME IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 3 DAYS, ROUND THE CLOCK BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS. HE RECOMMENDED THAT I SEE A DR. STUART SEROPIAN AT YALE NEW HAVEN HOSPITAL. I DID AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MDS (Myelodysplasticsyndrome) AN EXTREMELY DEADLY RARE BLOOD DISEASE. A MONTH OF TREATMENTS, STEM CELL TRANSPLANT I WAS RELEASED TO MY HOME. I WAS THEN FOLLOWED BY DR. MARTIN ABRAMS IN MY HOME TOWN FOR 15 YEARS. DR. ABRAMS, FOR ME, WAS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN SEEN, UNFORTUNATELY WHEN HE RETIRED HIS ENTIRE STAFF LEFT WHEN HE DID. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I WENT TO THAT FACILITY. MARTIN ABRAMS SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS THE TOP DOCTOR EVER. HAVING SURVIVED THIS INSIDIOUS DISEASE, NOW 20 YEARS LATER, I OWE MUCH TO DR. M. ABRAMS.
