My broken femur during physical therapy following hip replacement, Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem NC was ignored until Dr Childers came on the scene. He could not understand why I was in such severe pain five days after surgery. He ordered x-rays and found that the left femur was fractured during early inappropriate exercises with weights; notified surgeon. Dr. Childers is my hero. He provided proper diagnosis and procedures with genuine concern. He will have my gratitude forever.
