Dr. Zand was my post-transplant doctor. He impressed me as the most caring, both broadly and deeply knowledgeable, proactive doctor in my nearly 60 yearson earth. I believe he is the standard to which all doctors should aspire. I saw him in a "clinic" environment where all of us new transplant recipients would be scheduled for roughly the same time, and seen in turn. Depending on other patients there was a longer wait some times than on other times. He never failed to take all the time I needed.
