Dr. Ackenbom is the most caring and charismatic surgeon I have ever met (have had 4 surgeries in last 5 years). Very conscientious in planning my surgery, and the care before and after is unmatched. Puts patient care as a priority, and she herself called me three different times in the week after surgery to ask how I was doing!!! If you have a choice of surgeons, this is the woman you want on your side...
