She asked questions, took down answers to assess my situation. She ordered multiple labs to determine my diagnosis other doctors have been unable to find for years. Using her knowledge to select the labs I needed to rule out and further diagnosis my problem immediately. A follow up telehealth visit was scheduled when labs came back to immediately put me on medication to slow down the progression and help manage. She seemed very caring and genuinely interested in helping me get well, feel better and continue living as normal as possible with a chronic disease. Vanderbilt Rheumatology completely failed in all areas. I am glad I continued to advocate for my health and chose Dr. Maryam Pourpaki @ St. Thomas Ascension.
