Dr. Bernabei has been truly amazing. When I started having problems it took a long time between doctors to get anyone to take me seriously. My first cardiology appt was with a different doctor, and I was told that I didn’t really fit into the category of someone who would have heart issues due to my age and health history. I also had an on call nurse for my pregnancy tell me I should get back on anxiety medications because that’s what it sounded like. I continued to have trouble walking through stores. I had explosive heart racing that would wake me up, and continuous episodes of fainting. He was the doctor who performed my ablation, and helped me through some complications/ trial and error with medications with my ongoing heart issues. Anytime I have a concern, I can message him on my health portal, and he replies as well as calls me. He is empathetic, and answers every question. He never rushes me. I feel safe with him. He makes me feel validated.
