I was working in the ER one night 16 years ago when my wife showed up with our 3 year old special needs daughter. She had aspirated and was blue, limp, and hypoxia. Dr Wakeley worked tirelessly and diligently to try to save our daughter’s life. Though our daughter left us behind t night it was not due to any lack of knowledge, effort, or skill on the part of Dr Wakley or any of emergency team working at South Baldwin regional Med Center back on March 26, 2004. I am proud to have worked along side Dr Wakley, and I am confident that he did everything within his means to save Mackenzie’s life that night.
