Patient Reviews
Jun 04, 2024
On August 9, 2019 I was very lucky to fall into the hands of Dr Mathew Tomey. I was with my family taking a bike ride in Central Park, Manhattan, NY, when I had a myocardial infarction due to a heart attack due to obstruction of the posterior coronary artery. I was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital where Dr. Mathew was teaching a class to doctors who were studying postgraduate cardiology. He intervened in the placement of a stem perfectly and quickly, saving my life. I am going to be always grateful to him.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
