Patient Reviews
Sep 11, 2024
I went to Dr D'Alessio to find out about surgical correction of my diagnosed large hiatal hernia which at that point was creating shortness of breath on a daily basis even from simple walks let as well as bending, walking stairs and activities involving exertion. He explained the detailed surgery involved in moving what had become a giant hernia (most of my stomach was 'stuck' in my diaphragm pushing aside my lungs). It would truly be a quality of life surgery that as involved as it was, I knew the decision I had to make.Three weeks ago tomorrow, I had the surgery and I am thrilled with the outcome. I can breathe without thinking about it. Dr D'Alessio spoke confidently and reassuringly about the outcome during my consultation with him and his promise came to fruition! He gave me a new normal in record time. I feel great, so soon, and highly recommend him as a consummate professional and excellent doctor.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
