Recently had an appointment with Dr. Tompkins because my regular doctor was unavailable. It was one of the best Gyno appointments I’ve ever had. He listened to what I had to say and throughly explained things to me. My regular doctor approaches visits very differently than Dr Tompkins and it typically takes me at least a week to recover from the exam. It was nice to be seen by a doctor who has a more gentle approach to his practice, the exam was uncomfortable but not painful. I went into the appointment with recurring pelvic pain that was frequently dismissed by my regular provider— after one visit with Dr. Tompkins I had an actual diagnosis and a care plan. I have had recurring symptoms for 8+ years and two months into the new treatment plan there is significant relief and my quality of life has greatly improved.
