Dr McDonnell and his staff were very though and allowed me time to make a decision on how I wanted to proceed. I had a second opinion that verified his diagnosis and the surgery that should take place. Dr McDonnell went over all the steps, of the procedure, the recovery time, and the expected pain levels. I am at week four of recovery and everything is going as planned. The staff have been fantastic as well, answering all my questions, bringing me in on short notice when necessary and providing help with insurance and meds. I did not want surgery and put of off for as long as I could. I should have had this discussion with Dr McDonnell and made this decision sooner.
