I have enjoyed the honor of working alongside Dr. Pellnitz for almost two years. He has a friendly and therapeutic presence with patients and undertakes the most challenging cases where others would walk away. I always affirm that he is doing God’s work, facilitating His healing, often among the least and most broken of His people. I have no idea about Dr. Pellnitz’s religion or spirituality, but I can affirm, firsthand, that he invests his person and his gifts in every patient whom he encounters: evidence of his own humility, kindness and calling. Dr. Pellnitz brings a smile to my face each time I encounter him in the units of San Martin Hospital and I feel strengthened and relieved when I know that he is participating with me in the care of our patients.
