I have been a patient of Dr. Ferris for 8 months. He has operated on me three times and overseen two more. I have had many follow-up appointments with Dr. Ferris and his staff. He is always up to date on my info, my prognosis and my care. He and his team at UVM Medical are always professional and nice and he always has time for me and my wife. He listens. He has saved my life! I cannot say enough about how much I respect and appreciate Dr. Ferris. He is THE BEST! Thank You Doctor Ferris!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
