I have had many years of psychiatric care in many locations over the course of my life. Most of them were either neutral or very negative, causing me stress and anxiety. My appointment and subsequent care with Dr. Burke is the first time I have felt my care provider truly wants to listen to me and work with me to find the treatment path that will work best for me. Not only that, but she has been incredibly patient, persistent, and helpful in all follow-up interactions. My particular mental health issues make it very easy for me to fall through the cracks in the healthcare system, and Dr. Burke has not allowed that to happen which I am extremely grateful for. In face-to-face interactions she is present, non-judgemental, a great listener and very knowledgeable. Overall I feel lucky to be cared for by her, and I wish everyone who needs psychiatric care could have a doctor like her to care for them.
