I recently had some severe tooth pain that increased over the weekend. I called Dr. Emerson's office first thing Monday morning and they were able to get me in right away. After an eval, they stated I should seek out a root canal. They referred me to an Endodontist (which I had never heard of before) since root canals are their specialty. The Endo did an eval and determined since my tooth was cracked it would be better to have it extracted. Endo called Dr. Emerson's office and since I was already numbed up and would have the pain come back when it wore off, Dr. Emerson's office said to come into their office that day and they would work me in. I went over and after a LOT of numbing shots (apparently I don't numb easily) they extracted my tooth. They also went over their recommendations for what to do to get fixed up properly, which means a dental implant. It's expensive but it will get me back to 100%. Very grateful for Dr. Emerson's staff, who helped me out a lot. :-)
