Patient Reviews

My husband has seen Dr. Jobst for the last 6 years for surgeries related to his Crohn's. He has had multiple Setons put in place and replaced. You will have sometimes a longer wait time in the room, however, it isn't because he doesn't care. He ensures there aren't any questions that you may have before he leaves. This sometimes puts him behind. We have never felt rushed and he always has the best bed side manner. My husband also had an ileocecal resection (removed 10 in of large and small intestine) that was performed by Dr. Jobst. My husband's joint pain caused him to go to Mayo in MN. They did a colonoscopy and saw the work that Dr. Jobst did on the intestine. Apparently, (because I'm not a Dr.) there are Dr's who will take the two end of intestine and overlap then sew them together. This can cause 'stuff' to get caught. Dr. Jobst sewed the ends together 'butted up together' much harder to do, but much better for the patient. Mayo gave Dr. Jobst 2 thumbs up and so do we.
