I have been treated by pulmonologists before, but he is the first one who made a difference and made me feel as if I were his primary focus when I was with him. He is straightforward and kind. He prescribed pulmonary rehab, also, for me. It was not easy but was what I needed to learn. The Team at rehab was wonderful. Of course, if you don't want to help yourself, comply with recommendations, no one can help you. It was obvious he does his research because he prescribed a therapy for my wet bronchiectasis that no one else has ever suggested or thought of in 20 years of constantly coughing up mucous. My lungs are no longer constantly filling with mucous. My quality of life has drastically improved, allowing me to exercise and further enhance my health. I only wish that I had taken the opportunity to tell him before he left Presbyterian in Santa Fe. I am hoping to find him practicing in my area.
