Dr.Lypka is AMAZING!! I’m not easily impressed (& I’m in the medical field) so I feel I know when I’ve found a competent doctor. Dr.Lypka is HIGHLY skilled & takes his time. He did 3 procedures on my daughter & A LOT of swelling & bruising is normal however, he was so gentle that she has had NO bruising at all!! She also didn’t need ANY narcotics afterwards other than in recovery right after the 4 hour surgery which is also unheard of & AMAZING!! That tells me he was very careful & gentle during the procedure. His nurse Natalie is amazing & so kind. The entire staff at Children’s Mercy was wonderful. I saw other reviews online about Dr.Lypka that said if their child needs further surgery they would drive from Houston Texas (where he used to practice) to KC. That sentence says it all. We’d drive anywhere to hv Dr.Lypka be our daughters doctor also because, he’s most definitely the best of the best. There’s not a better surgeon out there!! Thanks so much to Dr.Lypka & his team!!
