I took my blind alert and oriented friend who uses a wheel chair to the ER at WARMC today for an injury to her left leg. Dr. Treiman treated her. I appreciated his bedside manner.. When he realized she was blind he kneeled down in front of her introduced himself and spoke to her. He requested an US test to determine a possible infection. He explained to her the results & made sure she understood what was happening and what to expect. She was sent home with an antibiotic since as there was a high risk for an infection. Thank you Dr. Treiman
