I experienced allergic reactions to medications used for a surgical procedure in May 2024. Although premedicated for these reactions, they became more severe, necessitating a trip to SRH Emergency Department.I was very fortunate that Dr. Michael Arocho was on duty. He LISTENED carefully, quickly diagnosed my problem(s), ran the appropriate tests, began treatment, followed up with the cardiac surgeon, monitored me closely, and informed me every step of the way. His professionalism, knowledge, and 'bedside manner' were impeccable. Rather than having to be hospitalized, he let me have the time to recuperate under his excellent care. I was able to be released within a few hours.The care I have received from this hospital has sometimes been hit or miss... but not this time.I cannot recommend Dr. Arocho highly enough. Thank you, sir!!
