In 2010, another Doctor did a total knee replacement from the very beginning. I had problems where even the therapist was telling the Doctor something was wrong. He would not refer me to another Doctor for a second opinion. And since this was a workman's comp, I had no choice but to stay with this doctor 2 years and one month he finally gave in and referred me to Doctor Boyd for a second opinion telling me that, once he tells me that everything is okay, then I would shut up. Doctor Boyd went in with fresh eyes. Didn't care about any opinion other than to check the knee and make sure that everything was okay He found the top part of the knee was broke loose. He was going to have to at least replace the top part. As he was doing the surgery. He found that the Doctor had put the wrong knee and my right knee And had to do a complete replacement. The most amazing thing happened when I fully woke up in my room. After the surgery, the pain was so much less than what it had been
