Patient Reviews

I saw Dr. Coburn on Sunday Thanksgiving weekend. Dr. Coburn came straight from the airport to see me. I had surgery a week later after antibiotics & had a successful surgery. A year later I had another emergency. A bathroom fall resulted in 3 broken ribs & I was bleeding from undiagnosed diverticulosis. My wife called Dr. Coburn’s office and asked Carol, his nurse for a gastro reference as I needed to head to the ER. Carol told my wife she would call her back in less than 5 minutes. Carol called my wife in 3 minutes, advised us to head to the hospital where a gastro doc would be waiting. My blood pressure was dropping like a stone & I had lost more than 2 units of blood. I was taken directly upstairs, met with my doctor & had the first of 3 procedures to diagnose my problems. Carol’s quick actions saved my life as my blood pressure was dangerously low. I received 2 units of blood but I am alive today!I will always be grateful to Dr. Coburn & his team for helping me in my time of need.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
