My family is currently experiencing a difficult season as we navigate new expectations regarding the care of my beloved father. During our (still ongoing) time at Kennestone, Dr. Cranford was assigned to our care team.I have never left a review for a physician before; however, I have been so impressed with Dr. Cranford’s talent & professionalism (in the scope of what I am certain is a very challenging specialty), that I feel a positive public assessment of his skill is not merely warranted, but mandatory.I have had a total of two meetings with Dr. Cranford—a summation of roughly 30 minutes—& in that time, I have been sufficiently moved enough to say this:He must be, without doubt, the gold standard among palliative care specialists.Dr. Cranford has provided the guidance we desperately need in this time of uncertainty, & he has done so with patience & empathy while offering education & remaining vigilant of my father’s wishes. He has been a source of peace that I am grateful for!
