I had a cardiac arrest at work and was given CPR for 22 min. There was no blood pumping to my brain that whole time. Dr Dams team at PCA used a special hypothermia protocol to lower by temp by 10 degrees which saved my brain. I am alive have a defibrillator implanted and have full cognitive function. Everyone says it’s a miracle but I believe God used the Drs hands to heal me and protect me. I have 2 young kids and every day is a blessing. Dr Dam has always been very pleasant and super knowledgeable. I never want a diff cardiologist.
