Patient Reviews
Sep 12, 2020
It is now September 2020, but Dr Flanagan quite literally saved my life in May 2016 (on my 29th birthday!) when he did a cardiac cath to occlude my newly discovered “massive” coronary artery fistula and “massive aneurysm” the blood was pooling into. As this is a rare genetic condition, it was never found until after I had my child. I am forever grateful to Dr. Flanagan for resolving my issue, and also the midwife who discovered the murmur after almost 30 years of no other provider hearing it. Because of them, I am raising my son (turning 5 within days!) and both of us are healthy and happy. Dr Flanagan: I recently (within past 2 months) learned about Cushings/high-prolonged levels of cortisol and immediately asked my GP for a cortisol test. Now diagnosed w cushings and looking for source (we bet adrenal.) Was told my symptoms were PCOS for many many years but maybe never was? Could high cortisol levels be linked to my previous heart condition, VS it being a congenital anomaly?

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
