As a 59 year old male, I was obviously very nervous and concerned about having my recent open heart surgery for an aortic valve replacement. Fortunately Dr. Hanna and his team were OUTSTANDING and really made me comfortable throughout the surgical process. From pre-surgery consultation to post-surgery visits in the hospital, Dr. Hanna had such a kind and gentle "bed side" manner, and humbly speaks to you in a non-pretentious manner as if you were a friend or family member; a true gift for such a highly skilled surgeon. Dr. Hanna thoroughly explained the procedure, noting risks, types of valve replacement pros and cons, recovery time etc. He answered all of our (my partner went with me) questions and concerns and put me much more at ease just talking with him. He stopped by the prep room the morning of surgery as well as post surgery in the hospital. I was amazed at how small the incision in my chest actually was. I can't recommend Dr. Hanna highly enough - he is WONDERFUL!
