I had some pretty traumatic dental experiences as a kid so taking my kids to the dentist always brings up some feelings for me. I’m not kidding when I say that I think I may have had the best dental experience I’ve ever had before (granted I wasn’t the one sitting in the chair!). The chairs have tv’s mounted above so the kids get to watch cartoons while getting their checkups. Both the dentist as well as the orthodontist here both took tons of gone answering my questions, chatting and just generally made us feel comfortable there. The orthodontist recommended a wait and watch approach (contradictory to the last dentist who just couldn’t wait to drill into my son who, it turns out, did NOT have a cavity). I appreciated the fact that they aren’t immediately recommending jumping to braces. Not only that, but then the kids got to pick from the treasure box AND Dr. Mike makes each of them a balloon animal. If only they worked on adults!
