I had a bad fall and broke my humerus on a Saturday. I was taken to Wellstar N. Fulton ER. They referred me to Dr. Quackenbush and was told to call Monday. When I called, Stephanie his receptionist was so sweet and kind and was expecting my call. (The ER sent my info over the day I fell). They got me in a few hours later. Dr. Quackenbush was kind, caring and had the most incredible bedside manner, something that’s typically hard to come by with specialist. He explained the option of waiting and seeing how it healed in 6-8 weeks and gave me the pros and cons. He also said we could do surgery, explained the procedure and the pros and cons of that too. My only question was when can we do the surgery. It just made more sense for me. He did surgery the next morning and he came to see me before and after surgery and made sure I was ok and understood everything. His office called the next day and he called personally about 3 days later to check in. He is a true gem and one of a kind!
