I've known Dr. Gitlin since 1980. He's the chief psychiatrist at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Affective Disorders Clinic, where I've been receiving services since that time. Dr. Gitlin is the best. Not only is he one of the nation's top experts in affective disorders (depression, bipolar disorder); he's joyful, kind & compassionate, and treats you like an intelligent adult. He has true enthusiasm for his work, helping people feel better.
