Dr. Koerner treated my husband for mitral valve rupture which resulted in severe ARDS, cariogenic shock, and required ECMO. Brilliant man, extremely detailed and meticulous in his care plan. He may not smile much, but behind his stoic face he has deep compassion for his patients. Dr. Koerner played a huge role in my husband’s recovery.
