First, I need to start by sharing that based on my experiences as a patient- being an inpatient healthcare worker- Dr. Michael Lempel is an exceptional OBGYN provider.In a quick summary of the actions that lead me to my conclusion: he exhibited genuine compassion since the time of my initial consult, phenomenal bedside manner, stellar communication (in depth two way discussions of routine care, explaining and creating diagrams of the purpose and results of diagnostic tests including laboratory and pathological findings, options related to medical procedures from the least invasive to most invasive, explaining and creating diagrams of the surgical procedures as well as listing out risks, benefits, complications, limitations, restrictions, measures taken to limit risk of unwanted events, etc.), following up on me via clinical staff as well as directly using phone calls, Epic messaging, and media via Epic to see if I was progressing well during recovery.
