it's been seven years and this is overdue. My wife died of respiratory failure 2 days before a GI appointment with Dr Schulman. I called and cancelled the appointment and the next morning at 7:30, he called to express his regrets and to offer support for my efforts in her care. What a human thing to do--I have thought of it often and am eternally grateful. I hope someone conveys this to him.
