Dr. Swong came to speak with me prior to administering anesthesia for a procedure which I was to undergo at St. Francis Hospital. Dr. Swong listened patiently to me while I explained my concerns based on a previous experience with anesthesia during surgery a few weeks earlier. He was not the anesthesiologist for that procedure. Dr. Swong in his calm, caring and professional manner stated various aspects about how he would handle my situation. It was very reassuring to have such a dedicated professional speak to me prior to the start of a surgical procedure.
