Patient Reviews
Aug 31, 2021
Dr. Slavens performed colon surgery on me. He was a wonderful, caring, conscientious doctor who really personified what a doctor should be. He came to visit me in the hospital every day including weekends to make sure everything was as it should be. My follow up care was amazing also with visits to his office as often as needed to check on my incision and to make sure everything was OK. He was charming, pleasant and also he had a great sense of humor. He made me feel very at ease and eased my concerns. I would highly recommend him if you need colon surgery.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
