My college student daughter disowned me for 4 years. As a single Dad since her 2nd birthday, it was very depressing. I saw Michael off and on during the first 1 1/2 years of that difficult time, and he helped me to learn to continue to love, support and accept her and her feelings. He helped w/issues related to abandonment by my birth father at 4, and my mother’s hatred of him/men. He helped deal with my related anger issues. I am a better Dad n spouse (remarried for 14 yrs)- THANKS!
