Patient Reviews
May 25, 2022
Dr. Velez is the kindest surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (I have had a lot of surgeries/procedures). Hands down the best bed side manner, which is rare these days. Dr. Velez demeanor is very calm and gentle, he is honest, careful, and very trustworthy. I was diagnosed with cushings disease and had an adrenalectomy, one of the stitches didn't heal correctly because of my disease and he corrected the incision. I was terrified to be awake and have him cut out the irritated skin and restitch; he walked me through everything he was doing and gave me such peace during the process. Every time I have seen Dr. Velez he always asks how my cushings /cortisol levels are doing "he truly cares about his patients" it makes the world of difference!
