I had stage 3/4 bladder cancer when I first saw Dr. Mattson. After a very quick series of tests the diagnosis was confirmed and the needed surgery was quickly scheduled and performed. When the lab work came back it showed clear margins all around indicating a successful surgery. The follow-up appointments were frequent in order to be certain that there would not be a recurrence of the cancer. In my opinion Dr Mattson utilized his Mayo Clinic training to the highest level and saved my life.
