Patient Reviews
Feb 09, 2020
In October, 2019 I came to the emergency room at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA. I was examined by Dr. Retamozo and he informed me that I had an incarcerated inguinal hernia that needed immediate surgical repair. I was impressed with the fact that Dr. Retamozo was absolutely candid as he explained the procedure and possible complications. He took all the time I needed to answer all my questions and put my apprehensions to rest. I am 69 years old and this was my first surgery. When I told this to Dr. Retamozo, he said, "don't worry......I've done thousands of these". I was informed by the hospital staff of their universal respect for Dr. Retamozo and that I was "in good hands". The surgery went well and now, four months later, I have absolutely no issues. I consider myself quite fortunate to have been under the care of such a fine surgeon.
