I will be forever grateful that Dr. Mohan Korgaonkar performed emergency surgery on my beloved mother, Ruth George, in Nov., 1996. She had a rupture in her intestine (due to a medication), and he repaired it. Dr. Korgaonkar was humble and told us to call him 'Dr. K.' As promised, he phoned each of my siblings and me at home to update us on Mom's condition. We knew she was at the end of her life, having dealt with non-Hodgkins lymphoma since her initial diagnosis in 1988. This wonderful doctor treated my Mom, siblings, and me with such respect, compassion and kindness. It is as if he knew how we felt and comforted us in our distress. God bless this wonderful man and physician. I highly recommend Dr. Korgaonkar as a gifted surgeon and an outstanding person with a heart of gold!
