I have had two experiences with Dr. Oppenheim as my ER anesthesiologist. In the first, he took the initiative to cancel a cosmetic plastic surgery when my heart unexpectedly showed a fibrillation when I first went under. He did this despite the initial objection of my surgeon. Dr. Oppenheim’s timely judgment was surely correct. There was no reason for me to undertake any heart risk for a cosmetic procedure. I was initially upset at the cancellation and left an inappropriate review (which I would delete if I could figure out how). My second experience with Dr. Oppenheim was for an emergency, middle of the night surgery. Notwithstanding his recollection of my objection to his prior cancellation, he handled the emergency with complete professionalism and got me anesthetized S quickly as possible I. Light of the extreme pain I was experiencing. In both instances, I was lucky to have Dr. Oppenheim as my anesthesiologist.
