After being told several times by the retina specialist at Northeastern Eye Specialists that I should just deal with my deteriorating vision which was due to a scar on my macular nerve, I met with Dr. Abuattieh. From my first visit, his positive attitude was obvious and he felt that surgery was definitely an option for me. He explained everything to me, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with my decision to proceed with the surgery. I’m so happy to report that my surgery took place at the end of September 2024, and my vision has improved drastically, with possibly more improvement to come. I can’t thank Dr. Abuattieh and his staff at Geisinger Hospital enough!
