Dr. Vilar is the absolute best. I saw her in a critical time of need - I had a serious eye problem with no obvious cause threatening my vision. As a previously healthy person I was scared and had no idea what to do. She did the work of a top doctor and patient advocate. She relentlessly worked to get to the bottom of what was going on, often even accompanying me to biopsies or other specialists since my case was so complicated. She pushed for fast appointments for me across many specialists so we could get answers as fast as possible. I don't know what I would have done without her not only resolving my issue but just helping me through the process. I travel now much further to see her every year because she is the only one I trust!
