Had a respiratory hospitalization for 4 days at Jersey Shore where Dr. Gornish explained the diagnosis and treatment, and also saw me for a follow-up outpatient visit. She not only explained my infectious disease results, she also went over some of my other specialty tests with me and called one of the other specialists to see if they could get me in earlier. She was informative, down to earth, spent time with us (me and my wife), answered any questions we had and some we didn't think to ask. In a world where the corporate mentality seems to have taken over medicine, she was a welcome exception.
