Nancy Mateer, MD, once saved my life when she was a resident. Now, I see that she is a Gastro. I'm a PA in Geriatrics, Neurology, and Palliative Medicine (their intersection with my lifelong love, medical ethics). I have been told I have IBS because I have "issues" I need a great doctor to do my colonoscopy. I knew Dr Mateer as a resident. She saved my life when I was a PA student on her service at the VA hospital in Houston. I'll book my appointment Monday, Dr Mateer. Paging! Dr Mateer! Lol
