After reading the negative review of Dr. Ferrando-Dehtiar I felt compelled to share my experience as one of her patients. Dr. Ferrando-Dehtiar was my anesthesiologist for a surgical procedure that I had done several years ago. Now I am not the best patient and do not pretend to be, I can be just as uncomfortable, nervous and apprehensive as any patient undergoing surgery, probably more so. After being admitted, Dr Ferrando-Dehtiar came to see me. She held in her hand my medical history and medication regime. Her demeaner was one of confidence, caring, compassion and professionalism. She carefully explained the guidelines that anesthesia must follow to ensure the safety of the patient. Dr. Ferrando-Dehtiar included my husband in this conversation and was thoughtful enough to ask him if he had any questions. Because of my experience, my family members have requested Dr Ferrando-Dehtiar for their surgeries and have had nothing but a positive outcome under her care.
