I asked for the referral and my hygienist did not think I needed itI let this hygienist do a scaling which I thought I did not need. After the scaling, she said my teeth were no better, but I didn’t need to worry about the pockets because my teeth were clean. The reason the scaling didn’t help us because my teeth were clean before the scaling. My previous Dentist and I had discussed that I had pockets, but they were very clean.I was worried about the low reviews Dr azadivatan has and almost canceled I’m glad I didn’t.She charged me $250 for the exam, and told me two teeth needed a laser treatment by the hygienist, which is 250 per tooth. She also said they only come back if I felt that I needed to. She also said that the multiple areas where I have 5 mm were not significantly inflamed and bled very late only after significant probing. She recommended not treating these areas. She’s definitely not doing her recommendations just for the money.
