I had Dr. Garg as my psychiatrist while I was an undergrad at UPenn and he really listened and tried to help me, even when his administrative superiors were telling him to cut our appointments short and just shove antidepressants down my throat until I got quiet because it was more cost effective. He was a funny, down-to-earth stand up psychiatrist, the few who have given me adequate psychotherapy in addition to med treatment, and the way Penn Med treated him is an abomination, but I'm not surprised, they were always mad our appointments rang long or he wanted to try a new medication with me. Its no surprise Penn has so many suicides their mental health care is abominable, and I admire Dr. Garg for standing up to them.
