I will forever be grateful for Dr. Swavely for changing the course of my arthritic treatment. For several years, my previous rheumatologist had prescribed several drugs and biologics for me, but I had little or no success; in fact, some even exacerbated my symptoms. However, about three years ago Dr. Swavely put me on a new medication, and I have felt like a completely new person ever since. I have gone from having severe discomfort walking up stairs and getting up from a chair to now competing at a relatively high level in local tennis leagues and tournaments.
