I was referred to Dr. Kohli through my patient-provider affiliation with Yale's Executive Health Program that is run by cardiologist, Dr. Mukherjee. It was important to me that Dr. Kohli recalled my history, the reason for my original visit, my diagnostic test findings, and the issues on which I was working, along with the progress I was making in speech therapy. It all spoke to me of good inter-team communication and a good e-chart system. Dr. Kohli is kind, compassionate, and thoughtful, and she devoted all the time I needed to explain her interpretations of my diagnostic tests, their implications, as well as her suggestion for a procedure she was offering. She presented the pros and cons, that it could be done as an inpatient or as a one-day procedure, and described how it would be done. We were able to book the procedure as an outpatient option.
